A project that emerged from exploring art history’s margins. Inspired by linguistically connected urban spaces (Brooklin in Sao Paulo is named after Brooklyn in NYC), conversations with a 78-year-old French artist living in Williamsburg, and reenactments in contemporary art (see my 2009 essay in Framework), I am organizing this reanimation to take place September 8, 2011.
